Natalia Czajkiewicz is an artist living and working in Seattle, Washington. Raised in California, her work is heavily influenced by living in the rainy grey city. Primarily drawing and painting females, she is inspired by women, human interaction, and hand-drawn type.

Residence is a exhibition of several parallel bodies of work by Seattle based artist Robin Stein. Through photographs and collage, subtly spectacular objects and structures are presented as monuments to the fantastic possibilities within familiar landscapes. Houses lifted out of the ground, a forest of crystals, the natural origami of receipts, and the surreality of agriculture all factor into to this brief collection of the artist's recent works.

Robin Stein is an artist living and working in Seattle, Washington. While initially focusing on photography, in recent years his work has expanded to incorporate installation, sculpture, fabric-works, collage and moving images. He is a member of the collaborative music project Flexions.

Artist Bio:Stacey Rozich is a Seattle-based artist and Illustrator. Old children's books, graphic novels and comic art are some of her biggest artistic influences; yet Slavic folk tales are the largest driving force behind this series. After studying Illustration at California College of Arts in San Francisco she has come back to her own homeland to continue producing and developing several series out of her studio in Pioneer Square.

Artist Statement about the series: In a nod to her Yugoslav background, "Homeland" works traditional costumes and folklore into a storybook world of warrior women and ghoulish monsters. While using a bold and simple palette for her folk pieces, a cartoon-like quality can be seen in the character design and execution. Striking patterns set off the delicate features in each portrait. Likewise with the creatures, texture and color are used to convey intimidation and reverence. Each piece stands alone in meticulous craft and all together as a vibrant tale waiting to be told.

Artist Bio: Christian Hansen is a Seattle based photographer and cinematographer who has been making pictures for nearly a decade. In addition to his still series at 20twenty, his motion picture work has screened at numerous festivals and been broadcast nationwide. He is currently developing his first feature film.

Artis Statement: Let me just start by saying that like any other photograph ever taken, these are stuck in a very brief moment in time. One two hundredths of a second to be exact. All taken within a few days of each other a little less than a year ago.

They depict people, all of whom are my friends and family, in their homes. These people sit and stoop and crouch and stand within the confines of their bedroom or living room.

The idea was to take a person, who I knew and loved, put them in a setting where they were most comfortable and photograph them. We would sit there for an hour or two or three talking, while I would hit the shutter.

I wanted to communicate what all of these people mean to me and how I might describe them in a single frame.

These are the most important people to me in the world and though you may not understand why from the solitary photo perhaps you will be able to identify with some attribute of it. Perhaps you will develop a relationship with the photo itself.

Some of the couples have since split ways; while many of the singles have since found a chosen one. Long hair has been chopped, short hair grown. Homes have been moved across town or to a different state entirely, a different coast.

These are my dear friends.
